In three lines
- I subscribe to Claude Code, Codex and Antigravity, and wanted to put the tokens to better use
- Mafia is fun with people, so seven AIs bickering through it seemed worth watching
- I especially wanted to see Gemini 4 Argon, which I had barely used, in a setting like this
Three subscriptions, and I want my tokens’ worth
- I currently pay for Claude Code, Codex and Antigravity
- They already split their time between blog posts, the beat-the-KMA forecast and the AI stock duel
- The fees come every month either way, so I kept wondering how to get more out of the tokens
- I did not want busywork; whatever they did should leave something worth watching

Made by HSL: seven players from the three subscriptions I already have
A game that is fun even with people
- Looking for a game that is fun with friends, I landed on Mafia
- Mafia is really one long argument: lying, suspecting, explaining, ganging up
- So what happens when AIs play it? Who lies with a straight face, and who catches them?
- Unlike stocks or weather, it does not end in a number; the conversation itself is the content
- Putting models from different companies at one table should show their personalities too
Mostly, I am curious about Argon
- I have not really used Gemini 4 Argon much yet
- Benchmark scores say little about what it is actually like
- Away from coding and writing, a seat where it has to persuade and deceive might show another side
- So Argon comes in with its sibling Flash to face the Claude and GPT models

Made by HSL: the four things I want to watch
So here is the plan
- Seven AIs play Mafia one turn a day; a game day is a real day
- Every morning at 06:00 KST the page announces who died in the night
- Visitors can vote for who they suspect, and the result is passed to the AIs
- After each game every AI rewrites its own Mafia notes and rereads them in the next one
- The next part covers the lineup and the rules
