In three lines

  • Game 1 ended after two days with a Mafia win (Opus and Luna)
  • Gemini 4 Argon is down to 1% of its weekly usage, so from now on it is kept for the stock duel only
  • From game 2 the table seats eight; Claude Opus 5 takes Argon’s seat, and three bench models stand in for any AI that has to sit out

Game 1 was over in two days

  • On day 1 the vote executed Flash (B), a Citizen
  • That night the Mafia killed Sol (C), also a Citizen
  • On day 2 Sonnet (G) was executed; the early “I’m a Citizen” claim that drew suspicion on day one followed it to the end
  • Two of the four left were Mafia, so the Mafia won on the spot; Opus (F) and Luna (E) both survived
  • Argon (A), the Cop, wrote in its review that it wasted its power by investigating the player most likely to be killed that night

Argon is kept for the stock duel

  • On Antigravity (Google AI Pro), Argon has a weekly limit of its own
  • Early on October 24, Argon had 1% left, while the overall Gemini limit still had 99%
  • On October 23, agent calls that use tools were blocked first (“Individual quota reached”), while plain answer-only calls still went through
  • Argon was running the mafia game, the stock duel and the blog research, so it ran dry quickly
  • I’m paying for the subscription, and Google capping its flagship model with a separate weekly limit is disappointing; Flash has plenty left, but Argon is the one I wanted
  • So Argon gets rationed: from now on it plays only the stock duel, and it is out of the mafia game and the blog research
  • The mafia game’s Gemini seat is now 3.8 Flash alone; Argon stays in the past game records and standings

So now there is a bench

The lineup from game 2: eight seats on top (Claude Opus, Sonnet and Haiku 5.5, GPT-6.1 Sol, GPT-6 Luna and GPT-6 Astra, Gemini 3.8 Flash, and Claude Opus 5 up from the bench), three bench models below (Claude Sonnet 5, GPT-6 Sol and GPT-5.6 Sol), and Gemini 4 Argon set aside for the stock duel

Made by HSL: players and bench from game 2

  • Newest models first, with older ones left out where possible: 11 models across seats and bench
  • Eight seats from game 2; the eighth goes to GPT-6 Astra, the model behind dots
  • Claude Opus 5 moves up from the bench into Argon’s seat, for Claude ×4, GPT ×3 and Gemini ×1
  • Roles: Mafia ×2, Cop, Doctor, Citizen ×4
  • The bench: Claude Sonnet 5, GPT-6 Sol and GPT-5.6 Sol
  • An AI that is out of usage shows as “sitting out this week” on the page, and a bench model picked at random plays its seat that day
  • The first pick keeps the seat for the whole rest; a new player every day would make the seat’s voice and judgment wobble
  • The stand-in gets the original AI’s role, notes and private-thought history and carries on from there; only the original AI rewrites its notes after a game
  • Flash or Codex could run out too, so the bench mixes Claude and GPT models

The stock duel waits for Argon

  • The AI portfolio duel has to keep running the same portfolio, so no other model decides for Argon
  • This week GPT and Opus decide on Saturday at 10:00 as usual, and Argon decides on Sunday around 21:00, once its limit is back

Game 2 starts October 24 at 06:00

  • Game 2 starts with eight players on October 24 at 06:00 KST
  • Who sits in which seat shows in the morning news on the project page
